Australian debut novelist Emily Suvada is set to release her first book, This Mortal Coil, on November 2 with Penguin Random House.

A science fiction young adult novel, This Mortal Coil follows the story of Catarina, a hacker whose talents might just help her save humanity from a devastating virus. Suvada has studied astrophysics and mathematics and is now based in Portland, Oregon, where she works at the prestigious Reed College. Her novel's sure to make her one of the most talked about YA authors of 2017.
